Domki Michałki

The cottages have great amenities, and the owner is flexible and available. There's a shop nearby too. Renting here is hard to beat 🫡 It's also a great starting point for trips to Śnieżnik and the nearby peaks.

The cottages are clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped, with fencing around them. There's a play area for children and a fireplace, and the owner is very friendly. Dogs are welcome, though the stairs might be tricky for them 😉

The outdoor space is a real plus, with a trampoline beside the cottages, a small playground on site, and a volleyball court. We also found it easy to reach the sights from here: Kudowa-Zdrój is about 30 minutes away, Czermna and the Skull Chapel around 35, Riese Osówka about 50, and the Silver Rock Fortress roughly 40. The Palace in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki takes about 20 minutes to reach, and the Palace in Gorzanów around 30. Błędne Skaly and Strzeliniec are also about 30 minutes away. From the cottages, the green trail to Szczytnik Castle is about a two-hour walk, with the yellow trail back taking around an hour. The cottage itself works well for a family and can sleep at least six. There’s a TV sitting room downstairs with a kitchenette and bathroom, plus two upstairs bedrooms. One has a double bed and a single bed with access to a balcony, and the other has three single beds. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here.

A lovely base for exploring, and we’re planning to come back next year. The cottages were spotless, the towels and bedding smelled fresh, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor area was cared for, and the owner was friendly. Definitely worth recommending.
