I won’t be back. The beds creaked, and you could hear everything through the thin walls. Kids were running around after Mick, and the receptionist looked like he’d been traveling the world for a week.

There aren’t any shops on site or nearby, so it’s quite secluded. Even with lots of people staying overnight, you hardly see anyone. The place has faded remnants of its former glory, like a fire pit, foosball table, and pool table. It’s an old-fashioned holiday house with reasonably priced rooms that have private bathrooms. It’s not luxurious, but it has atmosphere. Coming back from the trail at night, it looks a bit like the start of an American horror movie.

Parking costs 10 PLN per day, and the rude attitude and lack of humility make an already bad place even worse. The lack of renovations is obvious as soon as you pass the fence. I think its decline is imminent, perhaps only months away, before the place slips into ruin and is forgotten. The rooms are old and smelly, plaster falls from above, there’s a pervasive musty odor, and there are mushrooms growing in the rooms. The staff member pretends to be a Polish German. What a cabaret. I think you’ve been in exile a bit too long. It’s a tragedy, like the Third World, as if time stopped 30-40 years ago. Places like this are a disgrace and shouldn’t exist in Europe. I don’t recommend it, and urge people to think twice before visiting. The negative experience costs nothing. Sad but true...
