We got around easily without a car since the guesthouse is near the center and local sights. A lovely spot, especially for couples or families with older kids. I really enjoyed our stay.

The owner was easy to talk to, and we had a really pleasant stay. Our room was clean and had separate beds and a TV, though it was on the small side. There was a bright light, which was probably handy for reading in bed. Outside, the guesthouse looks lovely, and the wooded grounds and views make it feel peaceful. It's cozy, quiet, and good value. I can't think of any major downsides and would happily recommend it for an overnight stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped, even with a dishwasher, and the rooms look just as described, with nice furnishings. The building itself is fine too. But in colder months, the basics are a real problem: heating may not work, and you have to call the “manager,” who is often away, then wait and hope you don't end up freezing. Hot water is unreliable as well. It might be warm, or it might not, so after a long day don't count on a proper hot bath. With a sauna, billiards, and table football in the building, it's odd that room temperature and hot water seem overlooked. Summer probably has its charms, but fall and winter sound like a stay for Bear Grylls. You could feel as if it's a never-ending “children's day,” or like showering in a mountain stream at 0 degrees Celsius.

A spacious room and a nice bathroom made this a comfortable stay. There's also a well-equipped kitchen and a games room. The property sits in a peaceful area near Biały Jar, where the hiking trails start, while still being close to the town center. Very well equipped, and highly recommended.
