Willa Iga

The owner is nice, there's a sauna, and the place is clean. The center is about a half-hour walk away. But I found it cold, and as someone who likes warmth, I was irritated that the heating seemed to be turned down to save money. At Villa Iga, the owners lower it almost to zero at night. Maybe sleeping in the cold is healthy, but lounging on holiday in a sweatshirt and long trousers isn't much fun. In the evenings the management sets reasonable conditions, since most guests are in their rooms, but if you'll be outside then, I'd suggest bringing a 2000W fan heater, which costs around 50 PLN. That made the stay more comfortable when the owner set the temperature to 19 degrees Celsius, though I'd have preferred 22. I can't imagine how it would feel at -5 degrees Celsius or colder. I used to think radiators in a villa had to be turned down because it got too warm.

The owner really helps make the atmosphere friendly and homey. The rooms were clean, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed. A lovely place to unwind. Thank you!

The room was cold, even though the radiator was hot for the first two days. After that it was only lukewarm. The walls are thin, too, so we could clearly hear quiet conversations from the room next door. Otherwise, the place was OK.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, and it's a handy base for exploring Karpacz and the area around it. The owners were so welcoming that the place felt homey right away. I'd gladly return, and highly recommend it! ☺️
