Apartament Kattowitz

The apartment itself is new, nicely furnished and warm in winter. I liked the blackout curtains, the decorated bathroom, the hot shower and the useful basics, from cutlery and hangers to a shoehorn. Getting in with a door code was easy, especially arriving late in Katowice, and the owner was quick to respond and help when there was an issue with the codes. The location was excellent. My main issue was the very thin mattress. After a few hours, I felt sore all over, and a thicker, softer one would make a big difference for me. The shelf by the toilet was dusty and there were cobwebs on the ceiling, so the place needs a more thorough clean. A small bathroom bin would be handy too. If the mattress were replaced, I'd gladly stay again.

The location was great, but that was about the only thing we liked. The apartment was very dirty and needed a thorough clean: dust everywhere, a dirty sink and drainer, and a shower that didn't drain properly. The toilet also stopped flushing. Although the furnishings looked nice, the bed and mattress felt like the cheapest available, and we weren't comfortable even for one night. The noise carried from other apartments and could be heard inside ours too. The soundproofing was very poor.

We stayed for one night while passing through and were happy with the apartment. Parking was difficult, and we did miss having a dish sponge. Apart from those things, everything was great, and the location was excellent. I'd recommend it.

Right in the middle of Katowice, these are nice apartments and handy if you've got things to do in the city center. I'd definitely rent here again.
