It’s small, but fine for two people on a short visit. There’s a washer and an iron. No dishwasher or balcony.

Leszek made us feel welcome and patiently showed us around, including how to handle parking. The bedroom and kitchen look onto a leafy courtyard, which keeps them quiet, while the room faces the street. It feels like you’re right in the middle of a lively, beautiful area. On Sundays, with the balcony door open, you can even hear the Orthodox choir from the cathedral opposite. My one gripe with the apartment is the bathroom sink, which is too small and uncomfortable. It seems to have been fitted for a rental rather than everyday living. We’ll definitely return.

I was there in summer, and the room got unbearably hot. With the window open, the noise made sleeping impossible: people partying in the market square, Sebiks' cars, and speeding drivers. On the annexe side there was a smell from the pipes and garbage can. The mattress was so soft I could nearly feel the floor with my backside, even though I’m slim. Something under the sheets rustled whenever I moved and made me sweat where I touched the bed. It may be a clever setup for lovemaking, but it’s no good for sleep, and that seems to be what this “apartment” is intended for. I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists. It’s cheap and central, so it might suit enthusiastic young people.
