Willa Oliwia

We’ve just come back from a holiday at Villa Oliwia. It’s a peaceful place, with rooms that look just as good as the photos and everything you need, even bathroom cosmetics. The hosts were always happy to give advice and information, and the atmosphere felt very family-like. There’s a lovely garden and a place to relax, plus a great location. Breakfasts were delicious and made with love, and the owner baked a delicious cake to have with coffee. Thank you, and best regards 🐾!

The rooms are clean, and the place itself is lovely. The owner is great and easy to get along with, but the lady is very unpleasant and complains about everything. It’s meant to be suitable for children, though it seems they’re expected to stay still instead of moving around or playing.

We had a really enjoyable stay, which is why I’ve still given it a high rating despite a few problems. The apartment was lovely, the rooms were clean, and the building was well cared for. There’s also a playground and a barbecue area. The mattress was too soft for us, and we slept badly. The TV kept freezing or cutting out, so it was hard to see the point of having one in the room. In the bathroom, the shower curtain stuck to your body, which felt really gross. A glass screen would make showering much nicer. The listing does mention a kitchen, and there is one, but without a stovetop you can’t cook. I’d suggest adding at least an electric hob for guests.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, but that was about the only good part. Our stay ended up being cut short by a day. The owner had said in an email and text that we could stay until Sunday, then told us Saturday was already booked and he’d sort something out. He never did. The children weren’t allowed to use the keys, for reasons I still don’t understand, so we were left keeping an eye on them all the time. Never again.
