Hotel Meeting

I’d skip the breakfast. It was the cheapest one I’ve ever had, apart from in Yerevan, and still wasn’t worth it. The room was huge for the price and had little touches that hinted at luxury, but it was only superficially clean, and that impression applied beyond the room too. It felt like someone had a great plan for Hotel Meeting, then suddenly stopped caring. There’s probably a fascinating story behind it. If you just need somewhere to sleep, I’d avoid it. A decent spot for one night, though I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood by the pine forest, with a huge free outdoor parking area and underground parking for 10 pln per day. The old Soviet train carriage smell hits you in the elevator and the room. There was some mold on the shower ceiling, and no hand soap.

I liked the room, and the Kaufland food market is just a two-minute walk across the road. In room ³12, though, the shower door rubber was coming loose and the water flow was weak. Everything else was good, thanks.

The gym is nice, but service at reception was really poor. There was also a strange hospital-like smell around the hotel, and breakfast was basic.
