This hostel was badly organised from the start. Our room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly before arrival, and other guests were loud until 3 am and seemed aggressive. There was no staff on site to step in if anything happened, since the check-in office was on a completely different street. The stairs are very narrow, so carrying luggage is difficult and you could fall. The entrance was through a wedding shop (?) too. When we asked for emergency help finding a 24-hour pharmacy or calling an ambulance, they refused. I don’t recommend it to anyone, especially families or people looking for a quiet, peaceful stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The location is right in the heart of Toruń’s Old Town. It’s a hostel rather than a hotel, and I think the conditions are good for a hostel. The bathroom was the only downside: the sink is so small there’s no way to wash your hands, and the shower drain was clogged. Apart from that, everything was fine and I’m satisfied.

The owner stayed up for my very late arrival and was kind, understanding, and ready to help. I really appreciated that. I was in town for an industry conference, and the hostel worked perfectly for my two-day visit. I recommend it :)

The terrace is a lovely spot to unwind, and the kitchen has everything you need. It’s also close to the Old Town. Mrs. Madzia was especially kind and helpful. A really nice place, recommended.
