Hotel Solaris

We had a lovely stay. It's a small, charming hotel in a perfect location, and the staff were kind enough to give our dog a bag of treats. The bathroom could use a little attention, and I'd have liked more vegan choices at breakfast.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a complimentary glass bottle of water. I booked the cheapest room, but it still wasn't too small for me and my suitcase. The shower was especially good, with strong pressure and warm water coming through quickly, so there was no need to wait or keep adjusting the tap. The hotel faces the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There's a Żabka on the corner, which was handy. It also has a bar and restaurant, though I didn't try either.

My family's stay at the hotel was very positive, and the reception staff were excellent. I also saw how Christer Vattoy spoke to the receptionist. The receptionist stayed professional and showed remarkable restraint despite the rude and disrespectful behavior. I felt that behavior deserved a swift hit to his foolish face. That's all I have to say about that situation.

We had a cozy but spacious room, and breakfast was great. The shower felt a little cramped, though the toilet had a Japanese washlet, which is a great invention. The rooms have a classy, retro look, and the place is just a stone's throw from the old town market. If I come back to Toruń, I'll certainly give Solaris hotel serious consideration again.
