There are no rooms here now. The place has a new name, Residence X. I paid and was turned away. I don't recommend it.

The beds aren't comfortable, there are one or two stains on the sheets, and there's dust here and there. The towels also smell as if they haven't dried properly. Still, it's cheap and has what you need, so it serves its purpose. With a Google rating of 1.1, you can't expect the Ritz. The building has secure access, sits on a quiet street, and isn't far from the center. I think its Google ratings are unfair, since you can't expect much for the money paid. I'd give it 3/5.

I booked accommodation at Apartamenty Powstańców 22 KATO VISIT & LOVE. Just minutes after paying, I was told I had to pay a PLN 1,450 deposit, which hadn't been clearly stated during booking. I canceled immediately and asked for my PLN 306 refund, but so far I've received neither the money nor real assistance. I ended up without the money or accommodation. Under the law, this could fall under Article 286 §1 of the Penal Code, fraud and misrepresentation for financial gain, especially if money is kept after an immediate cancellation. I plan to report it to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and the European Consumer Centre, and I'm also considering contacting law enforcement. I'll share the case documents on social media to warn people. This matter is being reported to the police. Watch out for hidden fees and the lack of transparency in this offer.
