Bazantowo Sport Hotel

The gym is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of variety and tasted good. It’s a wonderful hotel with top sports facilities, and the kind, professional staff were always helpful.

Late checkout at 1pm was the best part. Hotels should do that! The place was quiet and nice, and the night security gave us priceless help with ice and other things we needed. We did find some funny things left by previous guests, and the TV was broken, but otherwise everything was good.

We enjoyed our time here enough to stay twice during our two-week trip. The Elite Sport room had a kitchenette with all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed, and the Premium Sport room had a balcony with a lovely view and a spectacular sunset. We booked directly through the website, which gave us vouchers for the restaurant downstairs. We liked eating there and kept finding excuses to go back. The daily specials are a great deal, but only until 6pm, and they’re strict about that. The pool was small but lovely. The changing room was very clean and had fancy tech, and we made plenty of use of the two saunas and two hot tubs. The location is fantastic, near the shops we needed and a few good restaurants. We parked outside without a problem. We didn’t try the daily breakfast, though the spread looked very nice. Cleaning staff and reception were both super helpful. The weather wasn’t great, which gave us more reason to stay indoors and enjoy the amenities. We didn’t get to try all the spa rooms, partly because we ran out of time and partly because the spa robes didn’t fit us, a common problem. Next time we’ll bring our own. I’m already looking forward to coming back to this sports hotel. Thanks for making the stay so special.

Thin walls meant we could hear gym and hallway noise from 6 am to 23 pm, which could be rough if you’re a light sleeper. The food was underwhelming too: a limited menu, quality that didn’t match the price, and slow restaurant service, especially frustrating after a long night. The room appliances weren’t working properly. The TV image was broken, the microwave was out of order, and most of the kitchen appliances were practically unusable. Staff also seemed disengaged, and getting help at the front desk or in the restaurant often took longer than it should have. More attentiveness and warmth would help. Hotel Bażantowo Sport has potential and some good features, but maintenance, service, and soundproofing all need work. It might be okay if you’re there for the sports facilities. For a relaxing stay, I’d look elsewhere.
