The location worked perfectly for me: I could walk to the conference center, shops, and train station. I also found the staff warm and helpful, even with the language barrier. The retro gaming decor gives the common areas a nostalgic, welcoming feel, and everything was spotless. Beds are comfortable and have privacy curtains. Easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, out of around a hundred.

I didn't speak with any staff, but I managed to find everything on my own. The place looks just like the photos, very colorful and also quite dark. For the price, it's a bargain and I'd recommend it. If it's completely full, though, there could be too few toilets and showers.

The A-HA room was ridiculously fun, like staying inside a cartoon. It felt a little surreal. The central spot was still quiet, and late check-in was possible without making someone wait at reception for ages.

The lobby is a blast, with arcade and board games you can use for free. My room had everything, including a washing machine, pots and pans, and a microwave, so you could even stay long term. It was clean and had a great vibe. Good Times House is a must go in katowice. I give bad ratings when they're deserved, but this place doesn't deserve one. For me, 10/10.

Our stay was perfect. It's a distinctive, fun hostel with interesting, very clean rooms close to the train station. One thing to know: the cleaning staff only speak Polish, but they still tried to help us with Google Translate. Recommended.
