Madera House

The room I booked had no radiators, and I couldn’t adjust the underfloor heating myself. It seemed broken or absent, so I had to message the host to change the temperature and call AirBNB three times before the issue started being addressed. After the host’s reply, which asked me to be “gentleman enough” to leave an extra 10 EUR for cleaning, I’m adding photos to show the state of both rooms: filthy carpets, dirty smudged windows, dust and cobwebs, and electrical sockets and lights hanging loose, with half of them not working. That felt like a safety hazard. The shower drain was blocked with hair from previous visitors, and it didn’t work. I had to clean it myself. One window had no blinds, leaving the bed visible to anyone outside, which was a privacy issue. I’ve never stayed anywhere this disgusting. The host should be ashamed instead of claiming this is the best place on the planet. I strongly advise against staying here, and I’ll be contacting Sanepid.
