Studio Apartament Centrum Katowice

I booked a couple of nights earlier this week. For Brits, it's a bit like an older-style Premier Inn, and better than most two-star hotels, a rating that feels unfair. It's basically a bed and bathroom, but in the city center you don't really need a full bar and restaurant. The room was comfortable and a reasonable size. There's a hot breakfast available, though I didn't have it. No bar, but reception sells drinks and snacks around the clock, and there's lobby seating where you can sit like in a bar or restaurant. The best part was the 12:00 checkout. On my second night, I was on a train back from Warsaw that was caught up in a tragedy, and ended up stuck overnight. I'm not saying that was a good thing before anyone lynches me! I only got back at 06:45, so being able to sleep for a few more hours was fantastic. You never know when a late checkout will come in handy. It's great that it's included by default, since most budget chains would charge extra to stay that late. This was my first B&B hotel after hearing good things, and it won't be my last.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel was well located. But the room was cold because the heating didn't work, the bathroom walls were dirty, and something made noise all night.

Good value, and you get what you pay for. The receptionist who checked us in was especially friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure staying there.

The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good. The town center is just a few minutes' walk away, and the location is perfect. Great hotel and staff, everyone was super friendly. Thanks for making our stay in Katowice awesome!
