Apartament 44 - Bliżej morza

Our refund took until Wednesday or Thursday to come through, so the money set aside for the trip was tied up for several days. Even worse, we were left scrambling for somewhere else to stay during peak season, with just two days before arrival. No one offered another apartment or compensation. We had booked apartment no. 4 at the Bliżej Morza property, 18 Kasprowicza Street in Kołobrzeg, through the Sun & Snow website in February, for August 18-27, 2025, and paid on time. On Saturday, August 16, my girlfriend checked the check-in time and discovered the reservation had been canceled. She had logged into her account the day before and saw no cancellation notice, so it seems the cancellation was made on Saturday, just before our planned departure. We were never notified by email, phone, or text, only by a terse message in the Sun & Snow account. We tried calling repeatedly but got nowhere. They simply said the stay was canceled without giving a reason and that we couldn’t come. We spent all Saturday frantically looking for alternative accommodation instead of preparing to leave. This was an extremely unprofessional and dishonest experience. I definitely don’t recommend this place because of the poor communication, lack of professionalism, and lack of basic respect for customers.

The rooms are new and clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There’s also a clothes dryer, hairdryer, mop, brush, and changing bags, so it seems like the owners thought of everything. We got into our room early because it was ready, without waiting until 4 p.m. Service was professional, questions were answered and information sent by email or text, and quiet hours were respected. The beach is a seven-minute walk away. Parking is tight, though there are plenty of spaces. The south-facing room got unbearably hot, and there was no fan. I don’t need air conditioning, but a fan is essential, so its absence made our stay miserable and kept this at four stars.

The apartment was cozy and very well equipped, and the location is excellent. Communication with the owner was quick and smooth. I recommend it :)

There was a nice surprise waiting in the fridge when we arrived, with something for the adults and the kids. The place was clean and tidy, and equipped like home, including a microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, and washing machine. Both rooms had TVs, the Wi-Fi was fast, and Netflix was available in the lounge. There’s an elevator in the building and a private lockable garage in the underground parking. The promenade and beach are nearby, as are two grocery stores.
