The water was a disaster, yellow and awful. There was no Wi-Fi, even though they left a note with the password. The place was clean, but cold. I wouldn’t recommend it. We paid 350 PLN, plus 30 PLN for parking.

At 350 zloty a night, plus 30 zloty for parking, this is very expensive for the service. The tap water is rusty and smells terrible, and the room is really cold. There’s nobody at reception, just a garage security guard who doesn’t care and isn’t responsible for anything. I really don’t recommend it.

The room itself was small but tidy, with two free tea and coffee packs for a double room for one night. Each had two sachets of mint, black tea, green tea, and instant coffee. There was no sugar, milk, or shampoo, so I had to go across the street to ABC to buy them. The balcony looked out at other buildings, which was a poor view. There’s no reception desk for the company. When you arrive, you have to call a number and wait for someone to come to your room. The woman who came was quite nice, though. The lifts are unreliable, and you can be left waiting a while. The price is almost 300 PLN per night, without breakfast. I’ve heard breakfast can be bought at the hotel, but I don’t know the guards. Parking at the entrance costs another 40 PLN a day, spaces are limited, and the lot isn’t guarded. The hotel isn’t bad, but the service and parking hassles mean I probably wouldn’t stay again.

The building has three elevators, including a glass one that goes to the 11th floor. From there, the large terrace is open to the public and looks out over the city and sea. It’s great for stargazing at night. There’s an ABC store and a pizzeria opposite, Biedronka is about 600 meters away, and the port and sea are a similar distance. I spent a week in room 312/313. It felt like a standard late communist era plus, with no kitchenette. Given how inflated restaurant prices in Kołobrzeg are, apparently aimed at German customers, that was a big mistake. I wouldn’t recommend a room without a kitchenette, even one with a microwave. My choice of room and the restaurants’ deliberately high prices effectively ruined my vacation. A family of four wanting two waffles a day, say morning and afternoon, would spend around 620 PLN on waffles alone over six days. A modest combined meal cost 160 to 200 PLN per day, and just dinner ran 250 to 300 PLN. This was in 2023, so I don’t know current prices, but I’m sure they’re higher. The bathroom toilet seat was cracked, rickety, and loose, and the shower doorbell was broken. The sockets were hard to reach on a very short extension cord behind the bed, making it difficult to plug in a charger or kettle. It’s hard to judge the hotel as a whole because it consists of many rooms owned by different people, with different prices and standards. I think some may be private apartments. Breakfast at 50 PLN per person was a disaster.
