The location worked well for us: the port is a 10-minute walk away, there's a coffee place five minutes away, and a grocery store right by the hotel. The room was lovely and reasonably priced, with a microwave and all the dishes and cutlery we needed.

The toilet hadn't flushed when we checked in, and the refrigerator in the room wasn't cooling. Noise was another problem: the room was split into two smaller spaces by a thin wall with a ventilation hole, so we could hear everything next door, including the TV, conversations, and early morning entertainment. Someone in another room on the floor also kept a party going with loud music and screaming all night, and the hotel staff did nothing. We asked to move because of the noise, but were told there were no rooms available, even though the hotel didn't look full. Probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

We booked on the phone at short notice, and a friendly woman brought the keys within minutes. The room was clean and we had no complaints. There's secure paid parking close to the hotel, and the location is good.
