The service was below acceptable. Reception staff were extremely unfriendly, maybe 1 out of 10. Our pitch was tiny and the grass was long, even though better pitches were available and weren't offered. The restaurant staff were just as unfriendly, and most of the menu wasn't available: only a couple of main dishes and pizza, with no pasta or fish. The side gate was shut before 8 pm, despite being advertised as open until 11.

We slept badly because our spot was right by other campers, the train and the basketball court. The showers only run for 10 seconds, and you need a personal permit to turn on the electricity. Keep the paper pass safe too, since it's VERY IMPORTANT for leaving the campsite at the end of your stay. The toilets and showers are clean, and there are activities and things to do, including a playground, basketball and bike rentals, but the stay still didn't feel great.

The place looks a bit dull, but it has what you need: plenty of space, a bistro, and clean toilets and showers. It's also reasonably close to the sea. Wi-Fi was notably slow, though it works as a last resort.

The campsite has a relaxed, considerate feel, with clean facilities, a kitchen, washing machine and showers included. There's also a small shop on site that's well stocked, and the staff are nice. The railway nearby is noisy, though it thankfully goes quiet at night. A rock concert at a nearby venue, followed by fireworks, could also be heard clearly late into the evening. I was so tired it didn't bother me 😂
