Hotel Pan Tadeusz

The restaurant Poesia was a real highlight, with wonderful traditional Polish food and very good service from the waiters and everyone else. The hotel grounds feel magical, with forest beside the Narva river. We had a wonderful stay and won’t forget it.

There wasn’t even a fridge in the room, which made it difficult to keep drinks or snacks. The service was just as disappointing. From arrival, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, and I felt like a burden instead of a guest. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The poor service and missing basic amenities made the whole visit unpleasant.

I came for two nights to meet with the Polish team I support from the Netherlands. The food was superb at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious for the price, and the hotel sits in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood. I’d gladly return if I’m near Warsaw again.

The food wasn’t good at all. At least the rooms were clean, the furnishings and accessories decent, and the surroundings quiet. The hotel sits on a steep riverbank, with forest between it and the river. Looking out toward the water is much nicer than looking at the building. The interior tries to imitate a Polish noble manor, but it fails badly, and the exterior is a monstrosity typical of early Polish capitalism. You can’t turn this building into a manor house.
