The hotel is in a peaceful spot, with a lovely view and good connections. We enjoyed it every day. Breakfast was a great start, especially with the tasty vegetarian and vegan choices. Staff were so kind and attentive, and helped us several times beyond what we expected. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return.

The sushi restaurant was a highlight, with fresh, delicious food and lovely presentation. We were also made to feel so welcome by Ehab, the Egyptian bartender. His friendly manner and positive attitude added something special to our honeymoon. The hotel is right by the sea, and the view was magnificent. Waking up to that scenery felt unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return.

The good parts were the beach nearby, roomy rooms, a comfortable mattress, and tasty, varied breakfasts. Still, the hotel feels past its prime and in need of renovation, with clear signs of cuts to service. It keeps announcing its five-star status everywhere, from the Wi-Fi name to brochures and receipts, which makes the gap between the claim and the experience hard to miss. During our week there, we found a hole in the wall, mold on the bathroom ceiling, and a sewage smell from the shower drain. A decorative piece was missing, leaving bare concrete exposed. The towel warmer was old, noisy and poorly maintained, and stayed cold at the top. One sauna was out of order. The rooftop café pastries and coffee were overpriced, though acceptable for a place like this.

My husband came back this week with our 9-year-old son, but this visit left us disappointed. They had just finished a long trip and trusted the warm welcome we had received a week earlier, so they didn’t check rates online. At check-in, the receptionist charged them 600 PLN for one night with breakfast. Our earlier rate was 418 PLN for two adults, and the current official online price for a high-category room is 116 EUR, about 494 PLN. When they asked about the difference, they got vague explanations and no clear justification or transparency. The price itself wasn’t the main issue. They weren’t greeted or shown any appreciation for choosing the hotel again, and there was no visible price list at the desk. No one tried to explain or resolve the matter kindly, even though the online rates were clearly lower. A week before, my husband and I had stayed at beautiful Hotel Marina in Kołobrzeg. We arrived without booking online, and the kind receptionist offered us a lovely room with a sea view for less than the online rate. We’d hoped to keep that visit as a special memory, but this return stay changed how we feel about the place.
