Osrodek Wypoczynkowy Gryf II

I had to carry my luggage up stairs because the elevator only went as far as the second floor. The place was very dirty, smelled unpleasant, and had rust on the bathroom fixtures. I don't recommend staying here. I can't understand how the sanitary inspectorate approves a place like this. It should be closed.

Getting to the parking lot was the main problem. There were plenty of spaces behind the building, but the approach was awful, over a sidewalk with potholes and curbs. You need to creep along and hope your suspension makes it. Maybe it depends on the car. A monitored lot one street away is a better choice, at the same price. The hotel itself was well kept, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The receptionists were lovely. Breakfast was modest, but had what we needed, and staff checked whether we were all set. The location was great too, right by the promenade and about a five-minute walk from the beach, with cafes and restaurants all around. Apart from the parking, I'd happily come back.

I've stayed here three times now. It's a calm, quiet spot near both the promenade and the city center.

The buffet breakfast was a real highlight, fresh, tasty, and plentiful. Pets are welcome, too. We had a great weekend at Gryf II Hotel and will definitely return, as long as expectations stay realistic since it isn't a five-star place. The autumn decorations in the lobby made me feel at home right away, and the woman at the front desk was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy, though time seems to have stood still here and some corners could use renovation. Our room was warm, with working heating, and had the basics: a fridge, kettle, cups, radio, TV, and Wi-Fi. The best part is how close it is to the park, beach, and sea.
