Villa Iris

I chose this guesthouse on a whim, and it turned out to be the right call. My room was comfortable and very clean, the price was affordable, and the pier was close by. I could extend my stay, too. The owner was really friendly and loved a chat.

The bathroom had limescale everywhere, plus mold around the sink and the small shelf, where the wooden shelves were missing. The shower looked like it had never been cleaned. It was so dirty that we went to Biedronka to get cleaning supplies, just to make the room tolerable. I go on vacation to unwind, not to worry about my health. The room smelled musty however long we left the window open, and there was a hole in the door as if somebody had banged on it. The pizzeria underneath was noisy constantly. We've stayed here a few times before, but this was our last visit. The prices are too high, and booking early would let me stay in a hotel. When we arrived, the hostess wasn't there. If other guests hadn't turned up, we might still be waiting tomorrow. Her only answer was "sorry." We always used to get a balcony room, but this time the room meant for three was too small for the two of us. The hostess suggested we heat up food in the hallway microwave, which looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in ages. We'd have booked elsewhere if free cancellation hadn't been offered up to two months before our stay. 2,863.56 PLN for a week in that room with that service is a rip-off. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The owner was lovely, and the place was peaceful and quiet with a great location. It was a real plus that we could bring our dog, and the little New Year's Eve surprise was a nice touch. Thanks, we'd recommend it :)

A nice, clean place close to the beach. I'd recommend it.
