I was there for a company event, so I can't comment on the hotel or bar. I was happy enough with the trees and the natural surroundings. No idea what the service is like, but not having paper towels in the toilet did knock a point off for me.

The staff were nice, and the food was good, though the menu and breakfast were both pretty basic. The place was clean and okay for a hotel in the Polish countryside. English wasn't a strong point.

The food seems to get better every time I come back, and I enjoy the atmosphere here. I visit the restaurant from time to time, so I was sorry that today's dinner ended on a disappointing note. I ordered one scoop of ice cream for one child, then another for the other. The bill charged 24 PLN for each as an ice cream sundae, so we paid 48 PLN for two scoops. I asked whether there'd been a mistake. The waitress explained that there wasn't enough cash in the till to order a single scoop separately, so they charged for two sundaes with cherry sauce. I told her she could have let me know, since I would have ordered a sundae if I knew, and then the price would have matched what I got. There was no more explanation. I try to sort out awkward situations right away, and I know anyone can have an off day, but I was still disappointed. Please let guests know about price differences like this in future. I don't want this to spoil the food or atmosphere here, and I'll see you again soon.
