Apartamenty Granitica Zakopane

The apartments have good equipment, and the neighborhood is peaceful while still being close to Krupówki Street. The cleaning needs more care, though. It feels rushed, with dust behind furniture and on lamps and radiators. Some kitchen cabinet hinges are loose and hanging, which makes things like the refrigerator difficult to use. There’s no oven, either. The double bed is made from two singles that keep shifting, and the mattresses slide together, so it isn’t comfortable.

There’s a nice restaurant and a market close by, and you can walk into the city in just a few minutes if you’re up for it. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We also liked the location, away from the center and near the White Valley.

We were in the mountains from June 7, 2025, to June 14, 2025, and spent a lot of time away from the hotel, so we left happy with the trip apart from the accommodation. I’ve booked apartments through Booking.com for six years, and this was the first time I was unhappy. I’d expected a peaceful family holiday, but the morning of June 9, 2015, started with drilling and banging right outside our door while they replaced it. I’d booked in the fall and got three days of this. They spent four days “looking” for another room before offering one, but we’d already declined because we had other plans and didn’t have time. They wanted to move us to another location. Our two-year-old was frightened, and nobody could explain what was happening or did anything about it. On the fourth day I managed to get at least an apology. The bedroom was extremely noisy, with street light coming in and sounds from both the elevator and garage. It was awful that they put a family with a child in that room. I’m incredibly dissatisfied with the service. Ugh, I don’t recommend it.

Our sons loved the mountains, and we were happy with the vacation overall, but the Bonda Granitica apartment was a letdown. The view of Gubałówka was poor, with only the mast visible, and the garage entrance was so bad it could scratch your car. The curtain rods were single, so the curtains couldn’t close and the pleats were see-through. There was no stereo despite it being listed, and the two TVs had no smart device. The listing picture showed a coffee machine, but there was only a drip coffee machine. Inside, we found dirty dishes, blankets, throws, and decorative pillows that seemed not to have been washed since new. The shower stall was dirty, ventilation grilles were black, and there was dirt and dust on the kitchen cabinets, wardrobe, and window pleats. The walls were dirty too. A hallway shelf was broken, and the bottoms of the bedroom drawers were coming off. I got the impression the cleaners only changed the sheets and didn’t clean anything else. On the Apartamenty Zakopane website, the administrator decides which reviews get published, and negative ones aren’t published.
