The forest and lake make this a lovely escape for anyone who wants a dose of nature, and there’s plenty to do outdoors, from the football field and basketball hoop to the kids’ playground. The old wooden cabins have a welcoming, rustic feel, and the staff were attentive and quick to respond. Our main drawback was the accommodation itself. The pillows were nearly flat, and the bedding and blankets could use replacing. Towels aren’t supplied, and cleaning and maintenance could be better. If you’re expecting hotel-level comfort, this may not be the place for you. Still, we enjoyed its unusual charm and would come back with the family.

A good family campsite. There’s a small beach and a playground for the kids, and the showers and toilets were clean and looked after. The staff were friendly and happy to help.

The staff were so kind and helpful. I’d be very happy to recommend a visit!

The location near the city center could make this a nice place, but the sports field is noisy from afternoon into the evening. There’s only one toilet for women and men, shared by campers, football players, and visitors to the sports park. Young people ride bicycles through the camper area, and people walk among the pitches. The worst part was the site’s own cars rushing through despite the 20 km/h limit. There’s dust between the car park and the maintenance building, and the car park is full of outdoor tables while the space is full of teeth. Nothing was done when I raised it. If you decide to come, bring your gang protection.
