The owner was nice, and one of the rare Polish men I’ve met who was willing to communicate even though we didn’t speak the same language. If you make a bit of an effort, it’s no problem to work out what you want :)

We spent a week with Mr. Duda in Kościelisko and were very pleased. The owners were kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the kitchenette was well equipped. There was also parking. I highly recommend it.

Everything was clean and tidy, and it was quiet and peaceful. The bus stop isn’t far if you’d rather not drive. If you do have a car, you can reach most trails in no more than 15 minutes in the morning. I recommend it.

Pokój u Dudy is clean and well kept, with a private bathroom and a friendly host. It’s a good choice if you like peace, quiet, and beautiful views while staying close to central Zakopane and the ski lifts. A great restaurant is about 80 meters away, serving plenty of delicious dishes. You can even catch a trout there and have the chef prepare it for you. There’s another decent restaurant about 400 meters away. I recommend it.

Everything is accessible and the price is affordable, but the view from the windows and balcony is the real highlight. I recommend room number 4, which is the most beautiful inside and looks directly onto Giewont. It’s close to everything. Highly recommend it.
