A cozy, pleasant place.

Really good.

We had apartment A2 on the ground floor, with a stunning view of the Tatra Mountains. It was well equipped for cooking, ironing, and cleaning, and there's a tea set in the kitchen. The placemats were so worn they really shouldn't be left for guests. For the price, I expected a bit more comfort and thought for the people staying there. We booked five nights for three people, but had only one garbage bag, two rolls of 2-ply toilet paper, and one small roll of paper towel. The dishwasher came with one capsule. Dishwashing liquid was provided, but you need to bring or buy a whole container of powder or liquid if you want to use the washing machine. The bathroom towel dryer didn't work, and the wet floor meant there was nowhere to dry our towels. There was no salt or sugar either, so we had to buy a kilogram of each. We came to Zakopane by train, and it felt wasteful to throw them out. In cheaper hotels we've stayed in, owners supplied salt, sugar, tea, basic spices, oil, and coffee. In short, bring your own garbage bags, dishwasher and laundry capsules, salt, sugar, and bath towels. I'd rather stay in a room with a shared kitchen cared for by a private owner than an apartment 'looked after' by a company that doesn't care about guests. Each apartment here has a different owner, while a company handles everything. We had a different experience. The trails into Tatra National Park are a long walk away, and the bus stop is also a bit of a walk. The address is between the Wojdyłówka bus stop and the health center.

The apartment is nicely set up, but the living room sofas are ready to be replaced. The balcony has a lovely view of Giewont, and the location is great if you want to be away from the bustle of Zakopane.
