The complimentary prosecco on New Year’s Eve was such a thoughtful gift, thank you. We had a fabulous stay, and I have nothing bad to say. The hotel’s decor and atmosphere are beautiful; from the moment you walk in, you can tell you’ll love spending time in the rooms and shared spaces. Our rooms were luxurious, cozy, and immaculately clean, and room service made everything feel just right. The staff were amazing and did so much to make our stay memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for our trip to Krakow. A big thank you to reception, housekeeping, and management.

Having two separate rooms with two queen beds made the place feel like an apartment, and that’s hard to find in Krakow without booking two hotel rooms. The location was great, and the bathroom floors were warm. The room was very clean and had little bottles of soap, shampoo, mouthwash, an exfoliating sponge, shower cap, and lotion, which you don’t see much these days. I do wish they’d had makeup-removing cloths. Staff walked us to the room and showed it to us, and I loved the arrival amaretto. For accommodation, it’s probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Five stars for the room and what I needed most. The breakfast at $33 per person, $100 for three, wasn’t worth it. You can get the same thing at a pastry shop down the road for a fraction of the cost. One night I wanted a drink from the “bar” and was told it couldn’t be served there, only brought to my room as room service, with a fee. They were booked, so they couldn’t accommodate my request. A bar should be somewhere you can walk up to, but here you have to sit at a table, and the tables are booked every day. For a drink, you’re left with the minibar or going elsewhere. Not ideal when you want a draft beer, wine, or martini after getting back to your room.

The breakfast was delicious, and the housekeepers deserve a big bravo for keeping the rooms so clean and welcoming. The people at the Balthazar are some of the best I’ve come across: friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay. Thank you to the whole team. If I visit Krakow again, I’ll definitely stay here.

When our plans suddenly changed, the hotel’s service went far beyond what we expected. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully furnished, and the location was ideal. The restaurant was excellent too. We were really happy with our stay.

The team’s kindness, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. They went above and beyond to help me with a complicated shipping situation and made sure everything was handled carefully. Every part of the hotel experience was excellent, but the staff stood out most. I’d stay here again on every return trip, and I’d strongly encourage anyone coming to the area to make it a must-stay. Warm regards, Tami
