Bracka 15 - Main Square Apartments

“Bracka Main Square Apartments” lives up to its name: it's right off the Main Square on Bracka Street, and is wonderful in many ways. As you might expect, the location is one of its best features, but it's also beautifully decorated, chic, and comfortable. The beds are large and cozy, the sheets are clean, and the shared kitchen is a nice, thoughtful extra. The complimentary toiletries are lovely, and check-in is exceptionally convenient. It isn't perfect, as some of the materials aren't top quality, but the advantages outweigh the drawbacks. And yes, it can be loud. It's in the middle of a city that doesn't sleep much, though the complimentary earplugs may help. Light sleepers should skip this one. Overall, it's great value for the price and a fine choice if you want a stylish, centrally located stay.

Despite the excellent location, my stay was quite disappointing. Three bars right downstairs stay open until 3 AM, and the windows unfortunately aren't soundproof. It felt as if I were sleeping on a busy street, with noise all night. The administration offered no contact or assistance, which made the experience even more frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, restful stay.

It's very noisy, with several bars right outside the window and loud conversations and shouting even at night. I could also hear noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway. The double bed is made of two single beds pushed together, leaving a gap between the mattresses. The bathroom door doesn't close properly, the showerhead holder is loose, and there's nowhere to put personal belongings. Self-check-in is available, but in a strangely inconvenient way. Booking.com calls the room a deluxe room, which seems like a joke since it doesn't even meet the criteria for a superior room.

Noise. It's incredibly loud, not because the property is near the market square, but because the windows are so warped when closed that you could fit your little finger through them. Replacing the windows would effectively fix the problem. The double bed has two duvets, but they're so small that together they are smaller than a standard single duvet. I can't rate the service because I didn't meet anyone.
