I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even if you only need a bed for the night. I called the day before and confirmed a place for two after being told I could simply drive over instead of booking through Booking. When we arrived at the address, nobody answered the phone for 20 minutes. The man who eventually picked up said he knew nothing about our reservation and would see whether he had a room. He later called back to say an older woman who lived there (?) might arrive in two or three hours to let us in. People we asked in the building had never heard of a hotel there, and there are so many intermediaries that there’s no direct number for the owner. I’ve never been treated so badly. It wasn’t worth it.

For a low price, you get a place about a 15-minute walk from the city center, which is a great location. The rooms themselves are below par and the property really needs a full renovation. Still, it could suit someone visiting Krakow on a budget who’s willing to put up with lower standards to save money.

We were shown a room that looked as if someone had just used it and left it unmade. The beds, boxes, and curtains were ripped, and the whole room smelled of cigarettes. I cancelled the stay for my health and safety. The rooms are in awful condition, and I’d tell anyone thinking of booking to think twice. Better to pay more than face that kind of mess and disappointment. What a disaster. I don’t understand how this place got such a good review.

The room we were offered was dirty and quite different from the one we had booked, and the listing seems to include rooms that aren’t actually available. There were cobwebs, dust on the furnishings that looked years old, and water leaked out from under the shower tray when the toilet was flushed. The central-heating pump sent vibrations through the wall, along with plenty of other annoyances. I wouldn’t recommend it and would warn others away.
