Faust ApartHostel

At 3’5 €, I thought it was fair for the price, and the location was good too. Still, there were some problems: the lockers in the bedrooms had no keys, and my bedsheet didn't fit the bed. A nine-bed room had just one key. The bathroom floor was soaked and it was a little dirty, though with everyone sharing it, maybe that's normal and not really the hostel's fault.

Getting in was easy, with one code for the hostel and another for the flat. The old city centre location was perfect, and the room was big enough. The bathroom was great and very clean. There was also a kitchen stocked with dishes, cups, a kettle and the basics. It was all very comfortable.

The location is great, but the place itself was a huge disappointment. The photos online make it look much better than it is. Our bedclothes weren't clean, and there were scraps left on the bedside table. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, with hair in the shower and sink. There were no working lockers for our things, and the door was basically always open. Nine people were supposed to share one room key. One of the worst hostels I've stayed in, I can't recommend it.

The pillows were tiny, more like something for decoration, and it was impossible to sleep at night because the bar under the window was extremely loud until 6am. Don't expect to get keys for the rooms, they don't lock. I had to leave my luggage at reception whenever I went out. Terrible place!
