The kitchen is well equipped and the place is clean. Breakfast is available too: the classic option includes bread, butter, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, sausage, vegetables and orange juice. Or you can have breakfast at one of the cafes nearby.

The location and transport connections are good, and staff were generally helpful when I contacted them. I stayed eight nights, though, and there was no housekeeping at all. Eight days without even one cleaning felt like too long, and as a tourist I shouldn't have to buy supplies and clean my own room. The radiator by the window malfunctioned twice, either overheating or switching itself off. Staff fixed it after I reported it, but it was still a nuisance. Their working hours were limited, too. One night my food courier left an order at the door, but it was gone when I went to get it. Someone had taken it, which was strange and disappointing. Those problems made the last part of my stay less pleasant than I expected.

The apartment was well equipped and in a great location, but the bathroom had a persistent, unbearable smell and a blocked drain. Someone came to deal with it, took a knife from the kitchen drawer and used it to try to open the drain. That was disgusting, and the problem still wasn't fixed. When I raised it again, management was dismissive and unhelpful. They suggested the smell came from the trash, even though it was empty, and tried to lecture me about hygiene. I asked to change rooms, but they only offered another apartment 12 minutes away by car, so I had to stay with the stinky bathroom. The rooms are also so close together that I could hear all my neighbors moving around, which was annoying. The pillows had poor cushioning and weren't good quality.

The apartment was cosy and nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. It's under a 10-minute walk to the old town and great value for money. I'd stay again.
