Tara Hostel

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is extremely good. But there’s no elevator, so we had to carry our suitcases up four floors. There were no towels in the WC, no shampoo, and the walls and stairs were kind of dirty. It depends what you expect. Not very good, not very bad.

The service was phenomenal and the rooms were great, super clean. I loved the common area too, with lots of seating and a tea kettle. It’s in a great location, about a 20-minute walk from the old town, with bars, cafes and bakeries nearby.

We were four friends and felt safe here. The location was ideal, and the place was clean with reliable internet. The receptionist was very polite, and after checkout they looked after our bags since our return was in the evening. I’d happily recommend it in Krakow.

The hostel staff were friendly, the location suited us, and the apartment had very good Wi-Fi. The bathroom, though, was far too small, and the mirror sat too low. The mattress was thin enough that we could feel the slats. In the evening, two strangers came onto our balcony to smoke, so we had to keep the window shut.
