We stayed in two “apartments” as a group of about 20. It was a decent experience, and honestly better than I expected. The place isn’t five-star, and there’s plenty that could be improved, but the price was very low for what we got. If you’re visiting Kraków on a budget and can give up some comfort, it’s worth a look.

We got to check in before the stated time, which was handy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hostel Al fresco is near the main square and old town. A very pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it.

I rarely leave reviews, but I’m posting this to warn anyone considering a booking: don’t stay here. The photos don’t show what the hotel is really like, and what passed for my bed was a mattress laid on a table. Honestly, it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The staff were nice, and the location is great. The apartment had just one bathroom, and that was also where the only sink was, since there wasn’t one in the kitchen. That was a bit inconvenient with 11 people.

The room felt old and was a little dirty, though the prices were pretty good. At least you’re close to Krakow’s historical center.
