The early morning noise was the only small issue for me, since my room was right beside the breakfast and kitchen area. This is budget accommodation, but I paid 200 zloty/€46.42 for two nights, including breakfast and a private room right on the main square of Katowice. My room was small but fine. The bathrooms and showers are in the corridor, and staff kept them spotlessly clean. Reception is open 24 hours. Breakfast is a self-serve buffet from 06:00-10:00, with three cereals, bread that you can toast, and five spreads. There's also cool water, tea and coffee, which remain free after breakfast hours. Guests can use the kitchen to prepare their own meals too.

We stayed in a shared dorm. It was clean and generally pleasant, though noisy at times because the rooms overlook the central plaza. Even on a Saturday night it was quiet enough to sleep, and the hostel provides free ear plugs if you need them. A big group of guys on a stag do made one of the next-door rooms pretty much uninhabitable, but once they left, it was cleaned spotlessly. The reception can arrange tickets for local attractions like Auschwitz or the salt mines at normal prices. The location is excellent and the price is great. I'd recommend it to young travellers on a budget who don't mind sharing space.

We booked the night before for two nights and got a good deal. The location couldn't be better, right in Krakow's main square, and we were amazed to find an offer like this. We had a private room with two beds, a bathroom just for us, and breakfast included. Would definitely recommend it.

You get more than you pay for here. The location is one of the best, breakfast is great and free, the rooms are clean, and linens are included. Bathrooms are shared. The staff never smile, and there isn't a power outlet for every bed. Bring your own padlock for the lockers, which are actually cages. There also doesn't seem to be security for the rooms: no password or bracelets, so anyone can come into the hostel and take whatever they want.
