My partner and I stayed from 16th to 19th February 2026, in room 13 by the main doors, reception, and small bar. The room was very basic, and water leaked through the shower door. Some reception staff came across as a bit rude. I enjoyed using the spa, especially with the snow and cold outside. The hotel is by the river, and we walked along the riverside path to the Old Town market square. It took around 25 minutes, quicker than going by road. Breakfast was busy around 6:30 to 7:45 with army lads, so the food trays were quite empty and we waited a bit for coffee while some filled large drink containers. The food was okay, but only warmish. I wouldn’t rate it five stars, maybe 3+, as the rooms are very dated. If we came to Krakow again, we’d choose somewhere more central for tourists rather than workers.

I stayed at the Blue Swan Hotel, not this hotel, and they share an entrance, reception desk, and rooftop restaurant. Guests at both get the same breakfast. I had a look around Niebieski Art & Spa Hotel, and as they said, it has rental bikes, a pizzeria, spa, conference rooms, and a fitness room. The standard rooms seem much better than those at Blue Swan, even though they cost about the same. If I return to Kraków, I’d definitely book here.

The location is lovely, overlooking the vistula river and just a short walk from the old town. But we paid for a 5 star hotel and ended up in the attached 3 star hotel, blue swan, with no compensation or price reduction. I’m sure Niebieski is very nice if you actually get to stay there. If you’re after a 5 star experience, go somewhere else. This hotel seems to have no problem baiting and switching you.

The view of the Vistule was lovely, whether in bright morning sun or on a foggy day. The hotel is quiet and clean even with road work going on, and although the room soundproofing isn’t perfect, nights were very quiet. We stayed three nights. The location made it easy to reach the main sites and city center, with buses and trams nearby. The bathroom wasn’t spacious, but it worked well. The room decor may not be the latest style, yet it felt clean and fresh. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner had something for everyone each time. The staff were professional, polite, and helpful. We recommend the hotel and will definitely return on our next trip to Krakow.
