Hotel Royal

Robert at reception was incredibly helpful when we arrived a few hours early and were tired, wanting our room. We waited outside, walking in the lovely nearby park, and he came out to find us after getting the room ready super quickly. Thanks, Hotel Royal. Your staff made the stay enjoyable, all so cheerful and helpful, unlike the bored, uninterested people you often deal with in hotels. And the breakfast was phenomenal!

Hotel Royal was a fantastic place to stay. The location made it easy to get to everything we wanted to explore, and the rooms were spacious and cozy, so we felt comfortable throughout. Breakfast was delicious with a lovely range of choices. We also really enjoyed the restaurant's offerings. Highly recommend it for a great stay!

The room service wasn't very reliable. We left the notice asking for the room to be remade, but it didn't always happen. When we saw the ladies to ask for towels, though, they were very helpful. Breakfast had loads to choose from, and we could eat as much as we liked. No complaints there. The hotel was lovely overall, with helpful staff and a great location, only five minutes from Krakow Square.

The hotel sits right on the beautiful Planty park walk, with easy access to the castle, river, central market square, shops, restaurants and historic buildings. The tram network is close too. You couldn't ask for a better base for exploring central Krakow. The rooms and corridors are spacious, with lovely high ceilings. The decor is a little dated, but it's clean and suits the period property. The main downside is the noise from the trams and nightlife, though you could say that about any hotel in a major city. If you're visiting, I highly recommend the 8pm classical concerts at St Peters Church in the centre.
