Hotel Vistula

The place is beautiful, and the staff were nice and helpful. The rooms got very hot in July, though. There’s no air conditioning, so we had to leave the windows open to sleep and breathe. Wasps kept coming in and were drawn to the sheets and towels, perhaps because of a scent on them. I got stung twice when I got into bed under the duvet. Breakfast was limited, and there might not be much left if you arrive late. Apart from that, it was a decent visit.

The breakfast was a highlight: a generous buffet of hot and cold food, pastries, and tea and coffee, with something different each morning of my four-night stay. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's interior feels a little dated, but the price was better than I expected for what you get. It's quiet, with a lovely river view, and public transport makes it easy to get to the city centre. There's also a small shopping centre within walking distance, plus at least two good restaurants if you don't feel like eating at the hotel. Great value. I highly recommend it.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but our family of three spent a weekend relaxing nearby on the Vistula river. The outdoor facilities, parking and the staff's hospitality and professionalism were all wonderful. Thanks for a great experience.

The location is great, peaceful but still in the city. The rooms were decent and mostly clean, and breakfast was good. The staff were good too. Some had limited English, but made up for it with their service.
