There’s a supermarket, a school, and a kindergarten nearby, and buses run often. For anyone traveling by car, it’s a great spot, with parking on the grounds and just a few minutes’ drive to the ring road and airport. My wife and children spent their first three months of evacuation here, and we’re deeply grateful for the host’s hospitality, support, and humanity. The room is small, but everything is there and works, and it stays warm in winter. The grounds are spacious and well maintained, quiet and away from the city noise. Protected areas surround it, so the air is clean and fresh.

The owner was very friendly, and the house is in a great location with a parking space and lots of greenery around it. But beware of apartment no. 4 in the attic! A large nail was sticking out of the door handle when we arrived. The beds were fairly comfortable, though the bedding on the king-size bed was worn and tattered. Four single beds are squeezed under the living room window, and there are no curtains there, so the sun woke us at 5 a.m. The floor wasn’t very clean, and the bathroom smelled terribly musty. The inside of the bathroom door looked unattractive, and the electrical system was substandard, with sockets pulled out of the wall.

A lovely dog showed us around the neighborhood. Behind the house there’s a big garden, with space for kids and a barbecue area. The hosts were so kind and had prepared the apartment for our little one, which was a nice surprise. Inside, everything was clean, cozy, well equipped, and in perfect condition.

They don’t often stop there, but I’m grateful they let me in and didn’t ask for money. They asked how much I could give instead. I sincerely thank the manager/owner for understanding.
