Orlowska Townhouse

We wanted somewhere with character in Kraków, and this place had plenty. Check-in is through the Cyrano De Bergerac restaurant, where Barbara was our excellent English - speaking host. From there, it's up the stairs (no elevator, sorry!), through a security gate, and on to the apartment. Ours was on the 3rd floor facing the street, with morning sunshine coming through the windows, which we loved. It had lots of room, antiques, and a small hall leading to the bathroom, while the kitchen was modern. The location is very convenient: it took us less than 20 minutes to walk from the train station, and turning right as you leave takes you to the main square before long. Highly recommended!

Klaudia deserves a special thank you. She was such a gracious host, and the staff overall went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and enjoyed Krakow. We’d love to return. Orlowska Townhouse is right in Krakow’s old town, close to sights, shops, good restaurants, and within walking distance of the train and bus stations. The apartment felt like home, with everything we needed. It was spacious enough to lounge on the sofa, work at the desk, eat in the kitchenette, and sleep comfortably in the big bed. The decor is elegant and classic, and the whole place was beautiful, comfortable, and practical. We’d highly recommend it.

If we come back to Krakow, we’ll stay here again. We had the Boudoir, and it was just as described, roomy, cozy, and very comfortable, with period details. The service felt personal and attentive, from the older couple who welcomed us to Dominika.

There’s no breakfast or restaurant here, though Cyrano de Bergerac is in the same building. Some apartments have a kitchen for preparing a light lunch or dinner, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The place is quiet despite being in Krakow’s old town. It’s a set of nicely furnished and decorated apartments in a very old Krakow house, rather than really being a hotel.
