David Boutique Hotel

This old hotel badly needs a refurbishment. I was put in a horrible ground-floor room behind reception and raised the noise issue within 10 minutes of checking in. I also spoke to the owner, who was condescending and unhelpful. They refused to move me or offer a refund. Avoid at all cost.

A small, cozy place in the heart of the Jewish community. The rooms are clean, though small, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast costs extra, but the Polish food was delicious.

We were on the top floor, where it was quiet and secluded, and the rooms were a very high standard with everything needed for a short break. Reception staff were polite and so helpful, even letting us leave our luggage until our flight. The location is amazing, with a little food court just steps away. It’s not in a commercial area, which makes it even more appealing. A hidden gem, highly recommend.

The service was so good, from the front desk and housekeeping to the technician who helped us with the safe, and I’d absolutely return and recommend the hotel to friends. The room was nicely decorated but quite small, especially the bathroom. It’s in a lively neighborhood, but tucked away in a quiet corner within walking distance of the major sights. Being near the cemetery actually made it more peaceful after a long day exploring Krakow. After getting to know the city, I think the Jewish Quarter is a better place to stay than Old Town. Just watch out for the cobblestones if you have a roller bag. Staying here was one of the best choices we made for our European trip in summer 2024.
