Penthouse with Piano & Old Town View

The general cleanliness was below standard. When we arrived, the toilet still had someone else’s waste in it, and there were no tea towels for drying dishes. The hair dryer smokes when switched on. The air conditioning hose goes into a drum that guests are expected to empty. When I asked the hotel to empty it, they replied, “Do you need air-conditioning?” I requested a new hair dryer but nothing has happened so far. Disappointing apartment.

The apartment was lovely, easy to access, and in a good location for us. Check-in and everything else went smoothly, and we enjoyed the stay apart from the bedroom problem. There were holes in the bottom of the wardrobe with plastic tubes running through them, and a sulphur smell came into the apartment. We couldn’t use the room because it stunk the place out. For the last two nights we had to open the windows and sleep on the sofa, which was very uncomfortable. We’re quite unhappy, especially as this was a birthday gift for my partner. I wanted to flag this for future guests, but when I messaged the people in charge, they ignored me completely.

I slept well in apartment 33. It was clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed. The building has a pleasant inner garden, and the apartment is near the tram line, about five minutes from the central square. Check-in is self-service, with detailed instructions sent by message. I got stuck on how to open the key box, but when I called, the administrator patiently explained it several times until I managed. An air conditioner seems to have been installed recently, and it’s not very convenient to use, as you can see in the video. I also had a heavy suitcase and struggled to get it up the three steps to the elevator. Those were minor drawbacks and didn’t spoil my impression.

I wouldn’t recommend it. We were shown pictures when booking, but the apartment we got was completely different and much worse. The beds were so hard it felt like sleeping on a rock. We were asked to pay for parking during booking. Later it turned out they didn’t have parking, and we had to pay again at a lot 600 meters away. They never refunded the money for parking they didn’t have, and afterward they stopped responding to the many letters we sent.
