The Loft Hotel - Adults Only

The rooftop jacuzzi and sauna were our favorite part. We went up each evening with a drink after exploring the city, and it was never busy. Most nights we had the place to ourselves. The hotel is right by the station, which makes getting around town and beyond very easy. It’s also next to the famous “Sausages from the Blue Nysa” van, which everyone visiting Kraków should try at least once. We stayed three nights and the staff were warm and friendly from the start. The complimentary prosecco on arrival was lovely, and it was a nice bonus to have the minibar restocked daily with soft drinks. Our room was stylish and modern, with a very comfortable bed, a powerful shower with properly hot water, an excellent coffee machine, and fast, free WiFi. The TV was huge, but there weren’t any English channels, so we barely used it. Breakfast was consistently good, with quality coffee and freshly made scrambled eggs, omelettes, and other hot dishes. The bar prices were reasonable too. We had dinner downstairs one night, and both the pizza and burger were genuinely tasty. A few small parts of the hotel are starting to look tired, with peeling wallpaper and some scuffs or stains. We could hear the trains from our room on the track side, but they were never loud enough to really disturb us. It’s a clean, modern hotel with great facilities, excellent staff, and brilliant value. We loved our stay, would come back, and highly recommend it.

The area felt safe and had plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations in almost every way, with clean, spacious, modern rooms. We booked because it’s so close to the station, just a two-minute walk, and about ten minutes on foot from the main square. Breakfast combines a buffet with cooked-to-order dishes, all at a high standard. There’s a sauna and hot tub at no extra charge, though we didn’t use them. The free water and soft drinks in the mini fridge were restocked every day. I also liked that the TV has Chromecast, so it’s easy to stream from your phone or tablet, something many hotels lack and a useful addition at little cost. Clean, modern, and in a fantastic location. We’d absolutely stay again.

I’ve never left a comment before, but I think the manager needs to know about this. On Friday night, 30.01, we noticed a blonde waitress acting strangely. There was a strong smell of alcohol, she was slurring her words, and we genuinely think she may have been drunk. We don’t remember her name. That’s not acceptable at a four-star place. The hotel should look after its employees and let them rest if needed, or carry out breathalyzer checks, so this doesn’t harm the rating or the guest experience.

The rooms are well laid out, with a good-sized bathroom, coffee machine, kettle, and minibar. We also got a complimentary bottle of prosecco when we arrived. This adults-only hotel is great for couples visiting Krakow. Sauna access is available when booking, and the rooftop jacuzzi is very relaxing. Highly recommended.
