Pollera

We spent four nights here and loved how calm breakfast was. There was no crowding, a choice of pleasant places to sit, and we picked the spot by the stained glass window. The music was uplifting without being loud. The rustic dining room had a big stove, stained glass, cast iron lights, warm golden lighting, dark wood furniture and light walls. The buffet was tucked at the end of the seating area, which helped the room feel relaxed. Each day there were slightly different hot dishes, plus fresh salads, pastries, bread, juice and water. The coffee machine was good, though my partner drinks oat or soya milk and there wasn't an alternative. We'd bring our own next time. Breakfast was delicious and something we looked forward to. Our deluxe double was airy, clean and beautiful, with useful little nooks. A sliding door could separate the sleeping area from a second space with a large sofa, which worked well for us. The decor was a little dated, but we preferred its warmth to a clinical look. The large bathroom was clean and bright, with a separate bath and power shower. My partner loved the bath, and I liked the shower. We could open the double layered windows or use the air con, and the room felt relaxing. It overlooked a small square but stayed quiet. The whole place felt welcoming, like luxury mixed with home. We wanted a long established hotel with the professionalism and experience that newer places can't match, and choosing Pollera felt right. The historic architecture ties into Krakow's history, and there were spacious areas for such a central location. Everyone working there was warm and pleasant. We arranged our taxi to the airport easily through reception. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back. Thank you!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was good. The hotel is lovely and just five minutes from the old town main square, with the station close by too. Krakow airport is 20 minutes away. If I'm in Krakow again, I'll certainly return to Hotel Pollera.

The trumpet from the Bazylika gives you that authentic Krakow feeling. This place is almost 200 years old, and its tradition and hospitality feel unique. Lovely room and bathroom, and excellent staff. I'll definitely stay here again.

Aneta at reception made our stay memorable. She was incredibly helpful with our requests and went above and beyond. The rustic building was charming, and our room was spacious and comfortable. It's only a few minutes from everything we wanted to see in Old Town.
