Q Hotel Plus Krakow

The location wasn't ideal, though the room was really comfortable and had a nice view of the castle and the ferris wheel. The bathroom was nice too, but there was no shampoo or conditioner, which stood out to me since I usually bring my own. The service wasn't especially warm or welcoming, but it did the job.

The staff were kind, the hotel is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Bus and tram stops are right nearby, and the old town is only a few minutes away. I'd choose this hotel again if I come back to Krakow. One downside, the double bed was a little narrow.

The night cost more than €150, and we ended up in a tiny room with a bed suitable for one person. After a 20-hour flight, we had been looking forward to Krakow, so finding that our paid double room had been replaced with a single room was a huge disappointment. The bed was only about 120-140 cm wide, with no bedside table or sockets. The room also didn't match the proper bed shown in the Booking description and photos. I spoke to reception, but the trainee couldn't fix it. When I asked for a manager, I was told the manager worked from Monday and the hotel was fully booked. It felt like nobody was willing to help. I have no complaints about the other services, but this ruined the whole impression. I'd always stayed at the hotel across the street before and had never had anything like this happen.

The location was great, close to the river and about a 10-minute walk from Wawel Castle. The cleaning ladies were extremely nice, too. But we left with mixed feelings about Q hotel and won't be back, since there are plenty of other places in Krakow. The room felt a bit small for the price. I'd also expected better reception service. Guests were treated like they were at a cheap hostel, which put us in a bad mood right from the start. Otherwise, it was a good hotel.
