The sofa bed was awful. Its mattress was so thin that sleeping on it was impossible, and it made loud noises whenever I moved. I wasn't expecting much from a sofa bed, but this was the worst I've experienced. During our five-day, four-night stay, the initially clean room wasn't cleaned even once. I asked for the trash to be emptied, towels changed and more toilet paper. They said they'd take care of it, but nothing had been done when I returned. At first, they said they couldn't provide more paper, even though four of us had only three rolls for five days. When I asked again, they told me to collect it from reception, where they limited us to two extra rolls. On arrival, there was no sign showing where reception was, and the closed door had nothing written on it. The reception staff didn't greet me or make eye contact, and the desk was messy with food on it. It didn't feel welcoming or like a proper reception.

The location is excellent for a break in Krakow, and there was storage for luggage on checkout day. The rooms are very large and impressive, clean and well equipped, with lovely showers and nice toiletries. They stay warm, and you can adjust the radiators when the heating is on, which isn't always, though the heating is generous. Highly recommended.

Very clean and spacious, with convenience stores nearby. The train and bus station is only about 600 or 700 meters away, and the Old Town is a 10-minute walk.

Breakfast was incredible, with loads of choice: pastries, meats, cheese, yogurt and more. They also serve orange juice and water, and you can order coffee from the bar for free with breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel has some huge rooms, with a television in the main room and one of the bedrooms. Its location near the tram line gives you good connections to the Old Town, train station and other places. Absolutely superb. I'd highly recommend considering a stay at Topolowa Residence in Krakow.
