Vistula Boutique Exclusive Apartments

The location was great, and we could walk everywhere we needed. We had a lovely four days in Poland, though getting into the apartment, apartment 8, made a rough start. The code lock looked broken and had been replaced with a handle and key. We spent 15 minutes trying to get the key to work. There’s no reception, so I contacted them on WhatsApp. They replied promptly, but it took 35 minutes in total for someone to come out while we waited outside in the snow with a hungry, screaming baby. The technician was lovely and showed us how to use the door, but over the next three days we still struggled. The key only worked if turned gently in certain ways, and getting in took at least five minutes each time. Not ideal with a crying 14-month-old. The apartment was a good size and had what we needed, but the TV didn’t work. The technician showed us how to use it, but it went off again as soon as he left, so we had no TV for all four days. The beds were very creaky but comfortable, and we slept well each night. We only got one pillow each, and they were the same size as the one provided for my baby’s cot. The balcony was huge and would be great in summer, and we didn’t hear the noise other reviews mentioned. We could have used a larger broom or a vacuum, though. Crumbs and dirt from outside built up on the floor, and by the second day we couldn’t walk around without socks, even though we’re not messy people. The curtains didn’t close fully, so our baby, who slept in a cot in the living room because he needed his own space, woke earlier than usual from the light. There was only one bin bag for four days and nowhere to store rubbish. We would have liked a working TV, plus shampoo and shower gel, as most apartments and hotels provide them. We also thought it was strange that no one came to change the bedding or replace towels during our five nights. The information sheet said this costs extra, which hasn’t been the case at other places we’ve stayed. We’d probably stay again, purely for the location.
