Tytano is directly across the street, a fantastic old tobacco factory with great bars and restaurants, and the old town is about a 15-minute walk away. The apartment was excellent value, and a fantastic find. Pawel met my friend and me outside when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. We were early, so the apartment wasn’t ready, but we could leave our cases there. Pawel texted an hour later to say it was ready. They’d left milk, water, tea, coffee, and chocolates, a lovely touch. I asked if we could check out an hour later on our last day, and that was no problem. Great apartment, great hosts, and fantastic owners. Thanks for the welcome, Zuzanna and Pawel. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

The owner was excellent to communicate with. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood close to the center of Krakow, and it had parking in an underground garage, clean bedding and towels, and what we needed for a few days. The place was tolerable, but the standard needs work. It wasn’t very clean: cobwebs around the window corners and by the bathroom water heater, dust on the cabinets and under the bed, and dirty ventilation grilles. The fan was listed in the room description, but we had to ask for one. There were no complimentary toiletries apart from a used, half-full bottle of liquid soap. The balcony was tiny, and the “city view” was actually the courtyard of the neighboring old tenement house. The double bed was two single beds pushed together, and the mattresses kept separating.

We really liked our stay. The apartment is excellent, and the layout is just right. The Czech-Polish phone call went fine. Galerie Kraków, a shopping center, is nearby, and the food here is simply luxurious. It’s a great place close to the center.

The owner was so nice that we’ll definitely come back and give the place another try. It could have been cleaner. There’s room for four, the location is excellent, and having a parking space in a closed garage is a big plus.
