Wine Apartments

The wine bar in the basement feels quite upmarket, but the prices are very reasonable. It serves food in the evening, including tapas style nibbles to have with drinks, and has a great range of wine. It's quiet rather than pub-like, and closes at 10pm. We also went there for breakfast each morning and were very happy with both the food and service. We were on the 4th floor in the smallest apartment type. The rooms are small but adequate. We knew there was no lift, so bear in mind there are stairs. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by, and the nearest tram stop is a two-minute walk away. The tram is regular and good value. Management were friendly and quick to respond before and during our stay. We were happy guests.

We were pleased with our stay, and the building felt safe. The rooms were spacious enough. The towels had an unpleasant smell, though, so cleanliness could use a bit more attention. A cutting board and a large bowl in the kitchen would also be helpful.

Shops are at the end of the street, and there's a wine bar downstairs. The apartment itself was spacious, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. It's just outside the town, about a 15-minute walk from the old town. Great place.

The location was good, within walking distance of the old town. Building security was good too, and there was direct access to the Wine cafe, which was great. We stayed five days in a rooftop studio. The room was small but adequate, the shower had good pressure, and it was six flights of stairs since there's no lift. I'd suggest giving the floor a deeper clean and changing the towels more often. The bathroom sheet says there may be extra charges for that.
